Community Updates | Community Garden | Seeds to Service

Some of the most meaningful things begin with dirt on your hands, a vision in your heart, and people willing to show up.
Nickie’s House officially has plants in the ground! What started as an idea is now becoming something we can see, touch, and grow together. This season we planted cucumbers, greens, potatoes, squash, tomatoes, eggplant, corn, and so much more. Seeing those first plants finally make it into the soil was a reminder that every big mission starts with small steps.
This is more than just a garden.
This garden represents hope. It represents sustainability. It represents community. Most importantly, it represents planting something today that can create impact tomorrow.
We are excited to watch our very first garden grow and see where this journey takes us. We believe food has a way of bringing people together. We believe growth creates opportunity. And we believe even the smallest seeds can eventually feed and strengthen a community.
We also want to give a BIG shoutout to our Agriculture Operations Manager, Amarah Wright. Her dedication, hard work, knowledge, and heart have helped bring this vision to life. She has poured so much into helping build spaces where growth and community can thrive together, and we are grateful for her leadership.
Please show her some love and support by visiting:

Be sure to check out her work and book with her!
We are still in the beginning stages, but every planted seed is a promise — to our neighbors, our mission, and our future.
This may look small now, but growth takes time... and we are just getting started.
💙 Where Hope Finds A Home.
